An eight-member delegation from the Republic of Poland, led by Ms Barbara Sadowska, Team Leader of the Project “Support for Social Enterprises” and founder of the Barka Foundation from Poland, visited the Municipality of Veles on 26.09.2022.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Crobia Mr. Lukasz Kubiak, the secretary Mrs. Danuta Potraviak, representatives of social enterprises from Poland, as well as the Director of the Center for Development of the Vardar Planning Region Mr. Sasho Moshev, met with the Mayor of Veles, Mr. Marko Kolev.
At the meeting, the guests exchanged their experiences regarding the current state of social entrepreneurship in the two countries, as well as discussed the opportunities that local self-government can create to improve it.
A day earlier, a delegation of mayors from EU member states visited the mayor of Vevchani.
