Who are In Vivo?
They are a group of seven enthusiasts with different professions, whose different experiences have motivated them to create an association that will contribute to dignified socio-economic conditions and inclusion for vulnerable groups in all walks of life.
The Organization for Social and Economic Development IN VIVO Skopje was established in August 2018, in order to enable the improvement of learning, work and the environment in our country. IN VIVO mainly focuses on providing assistance for (re) integration of socially and professionally excluded persons, and provides them with support until they can continue on their own.
What does the organization do?
One of the main goals of the association is to develop more models of social entrepreneurship in which marginalized groups of citizens would be engaged, including the homeless. They also carry out non-formal education activities for occupations that are in demand on the labor market, and cooperate with other associations, social enterprises and socially responsible businesses from the country and abroad.
In general, IN VIVO goes beyond the typical approaches in the work of civil society organizations by:
- Striving for hybrid financing of Organization activities (high commitment in assuring own predictable incomes, and, transparent and professional attitude toward current donors).
- Focusing its activities on people with fewer opportunities that want to challenge their social and financial status.
- Encouraging clear communication on balance between human rights and obligations.
- Supporting 360º reintegration of people in need (education, employment, health care, housing).
- Introduction of multi-layer initiatives, combining support to alienized persons with informal education, development of rural areas, green economy, promotion of local tradition.

Through the YODA project, the organization provided education and involvement in social entrepreneurial activities and the production of biohumus for the homeless in the Skopje region. The ultimate goal of this program is to identify the marginalized who want to improve their social and material status, and to increase the chances for their sustainable reintegration in all spheres of social life. The project includes homeless people proposed by the Red Cross point, located in Momin Potok – Skopje.

Green Vivo
Intending to assure financial autonomy, by end of June 2021 IN VIVO will introduce its own brand, “GREEN VIVO”. First product that will be promoted is biohumus. By the year end, product portfolio will be enlarged by launching (at least) one more product which will be demonstrate Organization’s commitment toward circular economy.
The organization also implements the HOPE (Help to People Empowerment) project, with the idea to help people from the marginalized categories to develop their creativity, talent and artistic skills, through art to encourage and help their social inclusion in all spheres of social life. , and to promote social entrepreneurship and the sustainable reintegration of people with disabilities.
Practical trainings for making vertical fountains
Plans of IN VIVO for next period are related to activities extension on national level, increase cooperation with relevant governmental bodies by becoming their social partner, attracting attention of traditional businesses with high sense for CSR, establishing solid relation with big international donors which are operating in our country.
