Fairs for Support and Promotion of Social Entrepreneurship

With the idea to present and support a model for implementing a different and more active approach to providing support to local communities and people from vulnerable categories, in order to be more integrated into society and to develop their entrepreneurial skills, the Project organized six Regional, and one National Fairs of Social Enterprises around the country.

The events, organized with support of the Regional Support Points in each region, were great opportunity for social enterprises initiatives with a strong social mission to promote their high-quality services and products, while providing a sustainable solution for vulnerable categories of people.

The Regional Fairs organized in Veles, Stip, Kumanovo, Bitola, Ohrid and Strumica, as well as National Fair in Skopje, were great opportunity for 151 social enterprises and non-governmental organizations with economic activity to present their products and services, their social mission, entrepreneurial ideas and potentials. The Fairs also, introduced huge opportunities for growth of the most innovative regional social enterprises, by providing endorsement by Municipalities, and discussions about financial support, mentoring and other support from various stakeholders.
